Dr. Molly Boyd, PhD
Dr. Molly grew up in Louisiana and has dedicated her career to understanding and supporting personal growth and transformation. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University in 2000, followed by an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2001. After several years of teaching at the university level, she pursued her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, completing her dissertation research in 2006: Lessons on Being: Implications of the Bateson Research Project.
With experience presenting at both national and international conferences, Dr. Molly is passionate about lifelong learning and applying the latest insights in the field of counseling and therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Louisiana. As a working mother, she understands the unique demands placed on women and families, bringing both professional expertise and personal insight to her work.
Dr. Molly believes that while solutions can be challenging, they are rarely complicated. She works collaboratively with her clients, ensuring that therapy is a partnership where both therapist and client play an active role in the process. She values the sacred trust within the therapeutic relationship and prioritizes client comfort, privacy, and individualized care.
Through a tailored, client-centered approach, Dr. Molly is committed to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. She is in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Vantage Health Plan, and Tricare. Please note that Medicare and Medicaid are not accepted. Telehealth appointments are available.
